KDE Priorities

Circle One Improving access to the core content through strategies such as increasing literacy, differentiated instruction and technology-based supports.
Circle Two Providing professional development opportunities consistent with KDE Professional Development Standards to assist with implementation of a systemic approach to improving school safety and student achievement.
Circle Three Assisting local districts with training necessary to meet requirements in the Kentucky Administrative Regulations for emergency and probationary certified teachers.
Circle Four Assuring related services, transition service and information from the Individual Graduation Plan are included, as appropriate, in the individual education programs for students with disabilities.
Circle Five Assisting DECS and local school districts with data collection and data management related to Kentucky Continuous Improvement Monitoring Process, including promoting partnerships with parents.
